Habitat
thrives amid housing’s troubles via The New Haven Register
Even as new home construction nationwide ground to a near halt amid
sagging consumer confidence and dried-up credit, Habitat for Humanity
of Greater New Haven was planning to break ground on two new houses in
the Hill neighborhood and is nearing completion of two others. The nonprofit
expected to complete eight houses this year.
